Triggering the Cross Sound Effect

The Wood Totem Cross Resource Pack includes a unique sound that plays when your wooden cross activates and saves you from fatal damage. To experience it:

1. Take fatal damage while holding the cross in your main hand or offhand

2. Survive the hit thanks to the Totem of Undying's protection

3. Listen for the custom sound as the cross activates

When the Sound Plays

The audio cue triggers at the exact moment the totem prevents your death. This happens in any damage scenario—falling, drowning, fire, mobs, or explosions.

Sound Volume Settings

If you can't hear the sound:

• Check your Minecraft sound settings and ensure the Master Volume and Players sliders are turned up
• Verify your system volume isn't muted
• Move closer to where the damage occurred, as sound has a limited range

The custom sound complements the visual pop-up effect that also appears on your screen when the cross saves your life.
