Preparing for Wither Skeleton Encounters

Understand the Threat

Wither skeletons are significantly more dangerous than regular skeletons. They deal more damage, have higher health, and can apply the wither effect to you. When regular skeletons transform via this mod's mechanic, they gain all these enhanced properties.

Gear and Preparation

Armor: Wear full diamond or netherite armor to reduce damage taken. Wither skeletons deal more damage per hit than regular skeletons, so protection is essential.

Weapons: Use a sword with high damage output. Netherite or enchanted diamond swords work best for quick elimination.

Potions: Keep healing potions and regeneration potions on hand. The wither effect will damage you over time, so regeneration helps counteract this.

Shields: Bring a shield to block arrows and reduce incoming damage during combat.

Combat Strategy

Engage from close range when possible to minimize arrow hits. Use cover to break line of sight and avoid sustained arrow fire. Eliminate transformed wither skeletons quickly before they can apply wither effect to you.
