Verify OptiFine is Working with the Resource Pack

Check OptiFine Installation

The Witch Girl Resource Pack depends entirely on OptiFine to display custom models and textures. If witches look wrong, OptiFine may not be active.

Verification Steps

1. Launch Minecraft and go to Options → Video Settings

2. Look for an OptiFine button or menu—if it exists, OptiFine is installed

3. Return to the main menu and check if witches have the stylish female character appearance

4. If witches still look like the default green mob, OptiFine isn't loading properly

Enabling Custom Models

In OptiFine's video settings, locate the Custom Models or Custom Entity Models option and ensure it's set to ON. This setting is required for the Witch Girl character model to render. Without it enabled, only vanilla textures will display, even with the resource pack active. Save your settings and reload your world to apply changes.
