Enable Enhanced Foliage and Plant Rendering
Locate Foliage Settings
Open your shader configuration menu and find the section labeled for vegetation, foliage, or plant effects. Wisp includes options to improve how leaves, grass, and other plant blocks appear.
Activate Plant Enhancements
Look for toggles or sliders that control:
- Leaf transparency or translucency: This makes leaves appear more realistic by allowing light to pass through them
- Grass and plant shading: Enhanced shading adds depth and makes grass feel less flat
- Foliage color variation: Some settings add subtle color differences to leaves based on lighting
Observe the Changes
Walk through forests, jungles, and gardens to see the effect. Enhanced foliage should make dense vegetation feel more natural and three-dimensional. If the changes feel too strong or hurt performance, most settings include intensity sliders to dial back the effect. The goal is a "slightly more realistic" look that still respects Minecraft's blocky aesthetic.
