Unpacking Blocks Back to Ingredients

Wishful Recipes Mod lets you reverse block compression recipes, turning solid blocks back into the materials used to craft them.

Blocks you can unpack:

• Clay blocks → clay balls
• Snow blocks → snowballs
• Packed ice and blue ice → ice or packed ice
• Wool blocks (including white wool) → string
• Amethyst blocks → amethyst shards
• Honeycomb blocks → honeycomb

To unpack a block:

1. Place the compressed block in your crafting grid

2. The recipe outputs the original materials

3. Collect your ingredients

Configuration

If unpacking is enabled on your server (unpacking_enable), the exact quantities returned per block are customizable. Check with your server admin or config file to see how many materials you receive. Some servers may adjust quantities for balance or gameplay reasons.

This is useful for recovering materials if you accidentally crafted blocks or need to adjust your storage.
