Convert Stairs and Slabs Back Into Full Blocks

Wishful Recipes Mod lets you reverse your crafting mistakes or recover materials from stairs and slabs without losing resources.

To convert stairs into full blocks:

1. Open your crafting grid (2×2 inventory crafting or crafting table)

2. Place stairs in the grid following the mod's recipe pattern

3. Retrieve your full block from the output slot

To convert slabs into full blocks:

1. Place two matching slabs anywhere in your crafting grid

2. The two slabs combine into one full block of their material

3. This works for all vanilla slab types

Alternative Stairs Conversion

If your server has alternative_stairs_to_blocks_enable turned on, you can convert stairs into slabs instead. Check your server's configuration to see how many slabs you'll receive per stair—this value is customizable and may differ from the default.

These recipes work with any wood type, stone variant, or other material that has stairs in the game. No furnace or special equipment needed.
