Use Minecraft on Multiple Monitors

Setting Up Windowed Fullscreen

First, enable borderless windowed mode in your video settings (see related guide). This is essential—true fullscreen mode locks the game to one monitor, but windowed fullscreen allows you to interact with other screens.

Positioning the Window

Once in windowed fullscreen mode, you can move the Minecraft window between monitors using your operating system's window management tools. Drag the window by its edges or use keyboard shortcuts (like Windows key + arrow keys on Windows) to snap it to different monitors.

Multitasking Setup

Arrange Minecraft on your primary gaming monitor while keeping chat, guides, or other applications visible on secondary monitors. You can freely click between windows without the game minimizing or losing focus in the way fullscreen mode would.

This setup is ideal for streamers, content creators, or players who reference guides while playing.
