Finding and Breeding Wild Pets

Wild Pet Menagerie populates your world with tameable creatures across different biomes. Penguins inhabit snowy regions, raccoons roam villages, ducks gather near grassy waters, and aquatic animals like koi, dumbo octopuses, and stingrays spawn in rivers and oceans. Koi also generate in custom pond structures throughout the terrain.

To breed land animals, feed them fish, seeds, or berries depending on the species. Penguins require fish, while raccoons prefer seeds and berries. Ducks and aquatic creatures don't breed through feeding.

Each animal has a matching spawn egg available in creative mode for direct placement. As you hunt and breed these creatures, you'll gather drops like raw koi and feathers. Use the /pet off command if you want to disable the companion feature from the base mod.
