Wild Battle API replaces the default random move selection with intelligent decision-making. Wild Pokémon now analyze your team and choose moves strategically based on type matchups and effectiveness.

At higher difficulty levels, wild Pokémon will:

• Prioritize moves that are super-effective against your active Pokémon
• Avoid moves that are not very effective
• Use status moves and stat changes tactically
• Adapt their strategy if you switch Pokémon during battle

Difficulty Impact on Behavior

Difficulty presets control how sophisticated this decision-making becomes. On easy, wild Pokémon make basic choices. On medium, they consider type advantages more carefully. At hard and extreme, they employ advanced tactics like predicting switches and using coverage moves.

Safe Fallback System

If a custom battle rule fails to load or causes an error, Wild Battle API automatically returns to standard Cobblemon battle behavior. This ensures your game remains stable even if a custom rule has issues. You won't experience crashes or broken encounters.
