Editing the Glint Texture

If you want to adjust the white glint beyond the default appearance, you can modify the resource pack's texture files directly. The enchantment glint uses a specific texture file that controls the shimmer effect.

Basic Customization Steps

1. Locate the resource pack folder on your computer

2. Navigate to the textures directory where glint files are stored

3. Open the glint texture in an image editor (PNG format)

4. Adjust brightness, opacity, or color values to your preference

5. Save and reload the pack in-game

What You Can Change

• Brightness – Make the white more or less intense
• Opacity – Control how transparent or solid the shimmer appears
• Color tint – Shift from pure white to off-white or cream tones
• Pattern – Modify the shimmer pattern itself (advanced)

Important Notes

Only edit if you're comfortable with image editing. Corrupted texture files will cause the glint to disappear or render incorrectly. Keep a backup of the original pack before making changes.
