Fixing Broken or Invisible Mob Textures

Why It Happens

Broken mob models usually mean the compatibility pack is loaded but one of its parent packs is missing, outdated, or being overridden by another pack. The addon only patches the overlap between Whimscape and Fresh Animations — it does not contain full textures on its own.

Step-by-Step Repair

1. Open Options → Resource Packs.

2. Confirm Whimscape and Fresh Animations are both present and enabled.

3. Move Whimscape x Fresh Animations to the very top of the selected list.

4. Disable any other pack that edits mob models or entity textures.

5. Click Done, then press F3+T to reload resources without leaving the world.

If It Persists

• Check that your Whimscape and Fresh Animations versions match the same Minecraft version as the addon.
• Delete and re-add the packs so the game re-reads their pack.mcmeta files.
• Test in a fresh world to rule out a corrupted resource cache.
