Troubleshoot Missing or Incorrect Block Textures

Verify Resource Pack Load Order

If blocks appear with default textures instead of Whimscape styling, the resource pack may not be loading correctly. Check that Whimscape X Create is enabled and positioned above conflicting packs in your resource pack list.

Check Addon Compatibility

Not all Create addons are supported. The resource pack covers:

• Base Create mod
• Create: Deco
• Create: Diesel Generators
• Create: Enchantment Industry
• Create: Wrapped

If you're using other mechanical addons, their blocks will retain default textures.

Texture Cache Issues

Minecraft sometimes caches old textures. Try these steps:

1. Close Minecraft completely

2. Delete the shader cache or resource pack cache (usually in .minecraft/shadercache)

3. Relaunch and reload the resource pack

Partial Reskinning

Some blocks—especially from unsupported addons or recent mod updates—may only have partial Whimscape coverage. This is expected and not a bug. The pack is maintained for the listed addons only.

If a supported block looks wrong, verify your mod versions match the pack's requirements.
