How to Switch Between Melee and Ranged Combat

Choose Your Combat Range

Weapons of Cataclysm offers both close-range and long-range options to suit different playstyles:

Melee Weapons: Boxing gloves, Infernal Forge, Khopesh, Tidal Claw, and Gauntlets provide up-close combat with powerful animations and area effects.

Ranged Weapons: Rocket launchers, Void Assault Cannons, and Wither Cannons let you attack from a distance with projectile-based moves.

Swap Weapons Mid-Combat

Keep both melee and ranged weapons in your hotbar. Switch between them depending on your enemy's position and behavior. Use ranged weapons to damage enemies before they reach you, then switch to melee for finishing blows.

Combine Weapon Sets

You don't need to stick to one set. Mix weapons from different boss sets to create a custom loadout. For example, pair the Harbinger's cannons with the Ender Guardian's gauntlets for versatile combat that adapts to any situation.
