How to Make Your Pets Teleport With You Through Waystones

What the Mod Changes

In vanilla Waystones behavior, only you get pulled through the network when you activate a stone. This addon hooks into that teleport event and sweeps up any tamed pets standing near you, so they arrive at the destination alongside you. You do not need to right-click them with a lead, and you do not need to build a separate pet-transport setup.

Step by Step

1. Tame the animal you want to travel with (wolf, cat, parrot, horse, and similar tamable mobs).

2. Make sure the pet is standing close to you — roughly within a few blocks — before you touch the Waystone.

3. Right-click the Waystone and pick your destination from the menu as usual.

4. Confirm the teleport. You and the pet should both appear at the target stone.

Things to Check If It Fails

• The pet must be tamed and owned by you. Wild or unowned mobs will not follow.
• Pets left sitting (the stay command) may not be picked up — stand them up first.
• If the pet is far away or behind a wall, walk it closer before activating the stone.
• On a server, the mod only needs to be installed server-side, so if it is not working, ask the server owner whether the addon is loaded.
