Setting Up YouTube Playback

WaterMedia Mod includes built-in URL fixing for YouTube, allowing you to embed live streams and videos directly into compatible in-game screens (like those from VideoPlayer or WaterFrames mods).

Steps

1. Obtain the YouTube URL — Copy the full link from YouTube (e.g., youtube.com/watch?v=...)

2. Place or configure a media screen — Use a compatible block or item from a dependent mod that accepts media URLs

3. Paste the YouTube URL — Enter the URL into the screen's configuration or GUI

4. Initial load may take a few seconds as the stream is fetched

5. Playback begins — Video will play on the in-game screen without interrupting game performance

Performance Notes

All media playback runs asynchronously, meaning your game won't stutter or freeze while loading or playing videos. If playback is choppy, ensure your internet connection is stable and that VLC is properly installed on your system.
