Finding and Settling Atolls

Water World Atolls generates circular floating settlements across ocean biomes. Each atoll features stilt huts connected by wooden walkways, surrounded by defensive scrap walls and watchtowers. To establish your own base, use the Atoll Seed Block—a specialized block that places directly on water without requiring seabed foundations.

Visit the Trade Post on the eastern side of each atoll to find a Cartographer villager who trades ocean exploration items. A loot chest nearby holds additional rewards. Watch for Fisherman villagers actively rowing boats across the lagoon and casting fishing rods to catch cod, salmon, pufferfish, and tropical fish. If a fisherman falls into deep water, an oak boat automatically spawns beneath them. The large northern gate allows boats to pass into open sea for exploration.
