Wind charge pads are momentum-boosting mechanics scattered throughout Water Speed Map. They launch you across large gaps and help you maintain speed during intense sections. Proper usage is essential for competitive times and reaching otherwise inaccessible areas.

Timing and Execution

Approach: Sprint directly toward the pad with full momentum. Do not jump before hitting it—let the pad trigger automatically as you run over it.

Mid-air control: After launching, you have limited air control. Aim your trajectory before hitting the pad by adjusting your approach angle.

Chaining pads: Some sections have multiple pads in sequence. Maintain sprint between them and land cleanly to trigger the next boost without losing speed.

Common Mistakes

Jumping too early breaks the pad's launch trajectory. Landing off-center may cause you to miss the boost entirely. If you're falling short of distant platforms, check if you're sprinting at full speed before pad contact—speed loss from previous jumps reduces boost distance.
