How to Find and Collect Hidden Emeralds and Tags

Where Collectibles Spawn

Emeralds and tags are hidden throughout Water Speed Map's four environments: the stranded ship, water temple, volcano, and ashen forest. They're placed off main paths, in alcoves, on high ledges, and sometimes requiring detours or alternate routes.

Systematic Search Strategy

Explore vertically: Look up and down—collectibles often sit on platforms above or below the primary route. Use side paths to access upper areas.

Check dead ends: Branches that don't lead to checkpoints frequently contain collectibles. Don't skip them just because they're not on the critical path.

Use landmarks: Each environment has distinct visual markers. Emeralds and tags cluster near unique structures—ship rigging, temple chambers, volcanic formations, and forest clearings.

Collection Tips

Take your time on exploration runs—don't rush. Slow down at suspicious areas and look for glints or color contrasts against the environment. Some collectibles require precise jumps or wind charge pad usage to reach, so practice the approach before committing.
