Equip and Use the Watch of Undying

Getting Started

The Watch of Undying functions identically to the vanilla Totem of Undying—no special activation or equipping is required. Simply hold it in your off-hand (secondary hand slot) or main hand, and it will automatically protect you from fatal damage.

How It Works

When you take damage that would kill you, the watch activates and:

• Restores your health to half a heart
• Grants temporary status effects (Regeneration, Absorption, and Fire Resistance)
• Plays a distinctive activation sound
• The watch is consumed in the process, just like the vanilla totem

Placement Tips

For maximum protection during dangerous activities like cave diving or boss fights, keep the watch in your off-hand while holding your weapon or tool in your main hand. This ensures it's always ready to save you without requiring inventory management during combat.

You can also place multiple watches in your inventory as backup—grab a new one after each activation to maintain continuous protection throughout your adventure.
