Understanding Warden Anger Levels
What the Numbers Mean
The anger indicator displays a numerical value above the warden's head. This number represents how agitated the warden currently is. The higher the number, the more likely the warden is to detect and actively hunt you down.
How Anger Increases
The warden's anger builds up when you:
- Make noise near it (walking, jumping, breaking blocks)
- Trigger sculk sensors in the deep dark biome
- Attack the warden directly
- Stay in close proximity for extended periods
Using This Information
Watch the indicator as you move through the deep dark. If the number is low or zero, the warden hasn't noticed you yet—this is your window to move carefully or escape. Once the anger level climbs noticeably, the warden is actively tracking you and combat is likely imminent. Use this warning to decide whether to fight, hide, or flee before the warden closes in.
The indicator gives you real-time feedback on how your actions affect the warden's awareness, letting you adjust your strategy accordingly.
