Sneaking Past a Warden Without Triggering It
Minimize Noise and Vibrations
The warden detects vibrations through sculk sensors. To keep anger low:
- Crouch-walk instead of running—this produces far fewer vibrations
- Avoid jumping or falling, as impacts create strong signals
- Don't break or place blocks unnecessarily
- Step carefully on sculk blocks, as they amplify vibrations
Monitor the Anger Indicator
Keep your eyes on the warden's anger number. If it starts climbing while you're sneaking, you're making too much noise.
Plan Your Route
Before entering deep dark areas, identify a path that avoids as many sculk sensors as possible. Move in a wide arc around the warden rather than directly past it. If the anger reaches a dangerous level, retreat to a safe zone where the warden won't follow.
Patience is key—moving slowly and deliberately keeps the anger indicator low and gives you the best chance of survival.
