Preparing for Combat When Warden Anger Is High
Recognize the Warning Signs
When the anger indicator reaches high levels, combat is unavoidable. The warden will begin actively hunting you. This is your cue to stop trying to hide and prepare for a fight.
Gear Up Before Engagement
Before the anger gets too high:
- Equip your best armor and weapons
- Consume healing food or potions
- Position yourself in an area with good visibility and room to maneuver
- Avoid fighting in tight tunnels where the warden can corner you
During Combat
Once engaged, the anger indicator will likely stay maxed out. Focus on:
- Maintaining distance when possible—the warden is melee-focused
- Using ranged weapons if available to chip away at its health
- Dodging its sonic attacks by moving perpendicular to its line of sight
- Taking breaks to heal between exchanges
Know When to Retreat
If your health drops critically, don't hesitate to flee. The warden won't pursue indefinitely if you get far enough away, and its anger will eventually decrease, giving you another chance to escape or regroup.
