How to Configure Llama Despawning and Particle Effects
Finding the Config
This mod includes a config file that controls two main behaviors: whether leashed llamas despawn alongside the trader, and whether particle effects play when a trader is despawned. The config is generated in your Minecraft config folder after the mod runs once. Open it with any text editor while the game is closed to avoid overwriting your changes.
Toggling Llama Despawning
Look for the option related to llama despawning. When enabled, any llama currently leashed to the trader will vanish at the same time the trader does. When disabled, the llamas stay behind and you'll have to handle them yourself. This is useful if you want to keep llamas for their drops or as pets, but annoying if you just want a clean disappearance. Set it based on whether you'd rather deal with leftover llamas or lose them entirely.
Toggling Particle Effects
The particle option controls whether a visual effect plays when the trader despawns. Turning it off makes the trader vanish silently with no visual cue, which some players prefer for a cleaner look. Turning it on gives clear feedback that the despawn button worked.
Applying Changes
Save the file and restart Minecraft. Config changes typically don't apply to an already-running game, so a restart is required. If you're on a server, the server's config is the one that matters for multiplayer behavior.
