What Rare Items the Trader Stocks

The Wandering Trader now carries genuinely rare items including diamonds and Eyes of Ender. These items would normally require significant time investment—mining for diamonds or crafting Eyes of Ender—but can be purchased directly.

Accumulating Enough Emeralds

Rare items command high prices. Begin saving emeralds well in advance by selling copper tools, basic supplies, and other items to previous traders. Consider setting up trading routes with other villagers to generate additional emerald income.

Purchasing Rare Items

When a Wandering Trader spawns, immediately check their inventory for rare items. Open the trade menu and look for diamonds, Eyes of Ender, or other high-value goods. These items have very limited stock—often only one or two per trader visit—so purchase immediately if you find what you need.

Stock Scarcity

Understand that rare items are intentionally scarce to maintain game balance. Plan ahead and prioritize which rare items matter most for your current survival goals.
