Configure the Compass to Only Show When Holding a Compass

Set Conditional Display

The WAIG mod allows you to limit compass HUD visibility to when you're actively holding or carrying a compass item. This keeps your screen cleaner during normal gameplay.

Enabling Conditional Display

1. Access your mod configuration settings (location varies by launcher)

2. Find the WAIG Mod settings or config file

3. Look for an option like "Show HUD only with compass" or "Conditional display"

4. Enable this setting

5. Save and restart your game

Behavior After Enabling

• The compass HUD will only appear when you have a compass in your inventory or hotbar
• Once you put the compass away, the HUD automatically hides
• This is useful for keeping your interface minimal while exploring
• Toggle the HUD with F6 as normal when you have a compass

This feature helps reduce visual clutter and makes the mod feel more integrated with your playstyle, only showing navigation help when you actually have a navigation tool.
