Adjust Compass HUD Position to Avoid Screen Overlap

Understanding HUD Positioning

The WAIG compass HUD is designed to automatically avoid blocking important UI elements like boss bars. However, you may want to fine-tune its position for your preferences.

Checking Default Positioning

1. Toggle the compass HUD on with F6

2. Observe where it appears on your screen—typically in a corner or edge

3. The HUD will automatically shift position if a boss bar appears, ensuring you can always see both

4. The display scales appropriately for different screen sizes

Customizing Position

1. Open your WAIG Mod configuration file

2. Look for positioning or offset settings

3. Adjust X and Y coordinates to move the HUD to your preferred location

4. Save changes and reload your game

5. Toggle the HUD on to verify the new position

The mod is built to be non-intrusive, so default positioning should work well for most players. Only adjust if you find the compass interferes with other mods' HUDs or your personal preference.
