Troubleshoot Snapdragon device compatibility

Verify your device GPU

VulkanDreno is optimized for Snapdragon processors with Adreno 7xx series GPUs. Devices with Adreno 6xx, Mali, or PowerVR chips may not experience the same queue detection problems.

Check device specifications

1. Open your device settings and locate the processor model (e.g., Snapdragon 8 Gen 2)

2. Cross-reference the GPU: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1/2 typically use Adreno 730 or similar

3. If your device uses a different GPU family, VulkanDreno may not apply fixes

Test with VulkanMod alone

Temporarily disable VulkanDreno and launch with only VulkanMod. If the game crashes immediately, your device likely needs the mod. If it runs fine, your device may not have the queue detection issue and doesn't require VulkanDreno.

Re-enable VulkanDreno if crashes return.
