Troubleshoot Chunks Not Generating in the Distance

Check if Generation is Enabled

1. Open config/voxyworldgenv2.json

2. Verify enablePassive is set to true

3. Restart your world if you changed this setting

Verify Mod Installation

Confirm Voxy Worldgen is properly installed alongside the main Voxy mod. The generator requires the visual mod to send terrain data to. Check your mod menu to see both mods listed.

Increase Generation Speed

If chunks are generating but very slowly, your generationSpeed setting may be too low. Open the config and increase the value slightly, then restart. This is especially important if you travel quickly through your world.

Check System Resources

If generation stops entirely during gameplay, your system may be running out of memory or CPU. Lower generationSpeed to free up resources, or close other applications.

Verify Voxy Connection

The generator sends data directly to the visual system. If this connection fails, chunks won't appear. Ensure no conflicting mods are interfering with Voxy's rendering pipeline. Restart your game completely if generation suddenly stops working.
