Set Up Voxy Worldgen on a Dedicated Server

Server-Side Configuration

Voxy Worldgen works on dedicated servers to manage chunk loading for multiple players simultaneously. This keeps the map loading fast even with many concurrent users.

Configure the Server

1. Place the mod in your server's mods folder

2. Start the server once to generate the config file at config/voxyworldgenv2.json

3. Stop the server and open the config file

4. Adjust generationSpeed based on your server hardware and player count

5. Leave enablePassive enabled for continuous background generation

6. Save and restart the server

Monitor Server Performance

Watch server logs for generation activity. If the server struggles under load, reduce generationSpeed. If chunks load slowly for players, increase it cautiously. Test with your expected player count to find the optimal balance.

Tellus Integration

If you're using Tellus alongside Voxy Worldgen, the mods work together for better data handling. Ensure both are installed and configured to work with your Voxy setup.
