Share Level of Detail Data Across Multiple Servers

Understand Shared LOD Storage

Voxy Extra allows you to use a single Level of Detail data folder for multiple different multiplayer servers instead of maintaining separate LOD data for each one. This saves storage space and keeps your visual settings consistent.

Configure Shared Storage

Open Video Settings and navigate to the Sodium options screen. Find the Voxy Extra settings section and look for the option to enable shared Level of Detail storage or specify a custom LOD data folder.

Point to Your Shared Folder

Select or create a folder on your hard drive where you want to store all LOD data. Configure the mod to use this single location for all servers.

Connect to Servers

When you join different multiplayer servers, the mod will now reference the same LOD database. This means terrain rendering and visual quality remain consistent across servers while reducing total disk space usage.
