Remove Nether Fog for Better Visibility

Access Video Settings

Open your game and press Esc to open the pause menu. Navigate to Options → Video Settings.

Enable Nether Fog Removal

Look for the Sodium options screen. Within Sodium's settings, find the Voxy Extra section. Locate the option to disable or remove Nether fog (this may be labeled as "Environmental Fog" or "Nether Fog Removal").

Apply Changes

Toggle the setting to ON. The change takes effect immediately—you should notice the thick red fog in the Nether disappears, giving you much clearer sightlines to navigate caves, find lava lakes, and spot mobs from a distance.

Verify the Result

Travel to the Nether dimension and confirm visibility has improved. You should now see basalt pillars, lava lakes, and terrain features clearly without the obstructive fog layer that normally obscures the landscape.
