Copy LOD Data into Flashback Replays

Understand LOD in Replays

Flashback replays are recordings of your gameplay. Without Level of Detail data, old recordings may not render terrain correctly or may look visually different from how you originally saw them. Voxy Extra lets you embed LOD information into replay files.

Enable LOD Copying

Open Video Settings and navigate to Sodium options. In the Voxy Extra section, find the setting for copying Level of Detail data into replays and toggle it ON.

Record with LOD Data

When you record a new replay with this setting enabled, the mod automatically includes your current LOD data in the replay file. This increases the replay file size but ensures accurate visual reproduction.

Playback Results

When you play back the replay later, terrain rendering, fog, and visual details will match how the world looked when you recorded it. This is especially important for preserving the appearance of custom terrain or heavily modified landscapes.
