Set Up Private Messages Between Players

Enable Direct Messaging

Private messages let individual players chat one-on-one across your server without public visibility. Open your web interface and locate the direct message section—this is usually a separate tab or sidebar from public chat.

Send a Private Message

1. Click on a player's name or search for them in the player list

2. Type your message in the compose field

3. Send the message—it will appear only to that player

4. Watch for delivery status indicators showing when your message was sent and read

Check Message History

All your private conversations are stored in the chat log. Scroll through previous messages with any player to review past discussions. If your server administrator has enabled audit logging in the configuration file under direct-message: admin-audit, super administrators can review these conversations for moderation purposes.

Receive Notifications

When someone sends you a private message, you'll see a notification in-game and on the web interface. If you're browsing the web, enable push notifications in your browser settings to get alerted when new messages arrive.
