Set Up Your First Cobblestone Generator

Why You Need Cobblestone

Cobblestone is your primary building material on Voidbound Horizon. Without a generator, you'll quickly exhaust the stone available on your starter island. A working generator means unlimited blocks for expansion.

Building Your Generator

1. Find a flat area on your island with at least a 3×3 space

2. Dig a small channel or pit to hold water and lava

3. Place a water source block on one side and a lava source block on the opposite side, allowing them to flow toward each other

4. Where the flows meet, cobblestone will form

5. Use a pickaxe to collect the cobblestone as it generates

6. Lava will not deplete, but if your water runs out, you can refill it from your starter supplies or create an infinite water pool nearby

Optimization Tips

Position your generator near your main base for easy access. Consider building a small roof overhead to prevent mobs from spawning in the area. You can expand the generator's footprint to produce cobblestone faster by creating multiple flow channels. Keep your pickaxe nearby and check on it regularly as you expand your island.
