Enhance Water Reflections and Clarity

Open Water Settings

Access the shader menu and navigate to the Water or Reflections section. Vivid Pixel Rays includes dedicated controls for water appearance.

Boost Reflection Quality

Increase the water reflection strength or reflection intensity slider to make reflections of the sky, sun, and surrounding blocks more visible on water surfaces. Higher values create mirror-like effects while maintaining the pixel aesthetic.

Adjust water transparency if available—this controls how clearly you can see through water to blocks and terrain below. Balance this with reflection strength to avoid washed-out or overly murky water.

Optimize Water Color

If the shader offers water tint or color saturation controls, increase saturation to match the "vivid" color philosophy of the pack. This makes ocean biomes feel richer and more vibrant.

Test your changes in different water types: oceans, rivers, and rain. Reflections should feel crisp and responsive to time of day without breaking immersion. Save settings when satisfied.
