Troubleshoot Shader Display Issues

Shader Not Showing

If your panorama appears static despite shaders being enabled:

• Verify shaders are toggled on in the F5 configuration menu
• Check that a shader resource pack is actually selected (not just installed)
• Confirm your graphics card supports GLSL shaders—very old hardware may have compatibility issues

Performance Problems

If the title screen stutters or lags:

1. Open the shader settings with F5

2. Lower the rendering quality setting

3. Reduce resolution scaling for better performance

4. Disable shaders temporarily to confirm they're the cause

Resource Pack Not Loading

Ensure your custom shader resource pack is:

• Placed in the correct resourcepacks folder
• Properly formatted for Vivid Menu Vistas (check pack documentation)
• Not conflicting with other resource packs

If issues persist, try the built-in Neonwave Sunrise shader to verify the mod itself is working. This helps isolate whether the problem is with the mod or a specific resource pack.
