Load and Switch Between Different Shaders

Built-in Shader

Vivid Menu Vistas includes the Neonwave Sunrise shader by default. This animated shader is available immediately without installing additional resource packs, so you can see shader effects right away.

Installing Custom Shaders

To use community-designed shaders:

1. Obtain a compatible resource pack designed for Vivid Menu Vistas panorama shaders

2. Place the resource pack in your resourcepacks folder

3. Press F5 on the title screen to open shader settings

4. Select your custom resource pack from the available options

Switching Between Shaders

Return to the shader configuration menu anytime to switch between the built-in Neonwave Sunrise and any loaded custom shaders. Changes apply instantly—you'll see the new animated effect on your panorama without restarting.

Community packs offer variety: water animations, space scenes, code streams, and more. Experiment with different packs to find visuals that match your preferred aesthetic.
