Display Your Current FPS Counter on Screen

Add the FPS Tag

The simplest way to show your frame rate is using the built-in {fps} tag. Open your mod configuration file and locate the HUD text section.

Basic Setup

1. Add {fps} anywhere in your HUD layout text

2. Save the configuration file

3. Launch or reload your game

Your current frames per second will now display live on screen, updating every frame.

Positioning Your FPS Display

If you want to move the FPS counter to a specific location, use the mod's positioning system in your config. You can place it in a corner, center it, or position it relative to your hotbar. The exact positioning syntax depends on your configuration format—check your config file for x/y coordinate options or anchor point settings.

Styling (Optional)

Some configurations allow you to add color codes or formatting around the {fps} tag. Experiment with text formatting options in your config to make it stand out or blend in with your chosen theme.
