Keep Your Nametag Visible or Hidden During Idle Shots

Controlling Nametag Display

When the cinematic camera activates, your character's nametag (or other players' nametags in multiplayer) might distract from the shot. The mod lets you control whether nametags appear during idle sequences.

Finding the Nametag Setting

Open your mod settings menu and search for nametag visibility, show nametags, or similar wording. This option controls whether character names display during cinematic mode.

Hiding Nametags for Cleaner Shots

Disable or toggle off the nametag visibility option. This removes all nametags from view during idle camera sequences, giving you unobstructed cinematic footage of your character and surroundings.

Keeping Nametags Visible

Enable the nametag visibility option to keep names displayed. This is useful in multiplayer servers where you want to identify other players even during idle shots.

Multiplayer Considerations

In servers with many players, hiding nametags during idle mode can make cinematic shots feel less cluttered. In smaller groups or solo play, keeping them visible helps maintain context about who or what you're viewing.
