Set Up a Custom HUD Layout for PvP

Open the HUD Editor

Press the keybind to open the Vitality Glance Monitor editor (default is configurable in mod settings). You'll see your screen overlaid with a grid and all active widgets displayed with selection handles.

Position Combat-Critical Widgets

For PvP, prioritize widgets you need to see instantly:

  • Armor durability: Drag this to the top-left or top-right corner so you can monitor protection at a glance
  • Health/hunger: Position near the center-bottom for quick reference during fights
  • Held item display: Place near your crosshair to track what's in your main hand
  • Potion effects: Move to an uncluttered area to spot buffs and debuffs

Adjust Scale and Colors

Click each widget to open its settings card. Increase the scale of armor and health displays so they're visible during fast-paced combat. Change text colors to high-contrast shades (bright white, yellow, or red) against your typical background.

Save Your Layout

Once positioned, save this layout to a profile with a memorable name like "PvP Setup." This lets you switch between layouts for different playstyles without repositioning everything manually.
