Create a Minimalist HUD for Cinematic Gameplay
Start with a Clean Slate
Open the HUD editor and disable most widgets by toggling them off in the widget menu. Keep only essential information: coordinates, current biome, and game time.
Position Widgets at Screen Edges
Drag your remaining widgets to the far corners or edges of the screen where they're present but unobtrusive. Use the grid snapping to align them neatly. Consider placing coordinates in the bottom-left and biome info in the top-left.
Reduce Scale and Customize Colors
In each widget's settings, lower the scale significantly—aim for text that's readable but doesn't dominate your view. Choose muted, neutral colors like dark gray or soft white that blend with most environments.
Disable Backgrounds
Toggle off background visuals for each widget so they appear as floating text rather than solid cards. This creates a cleaner, less intrusive aesthetic.
Export for Reuse
Save this layout to a profile called "Cinematic" and export it. You can load it whenever you want to record or take screenshots without the busy HUD cluttering your shots.
