How to Get Crystal Sparkle Particles from Amethyst in Visuality Reforged

One of the standout effects in Visuality Reforged is the sparkle that appears around amethyst crystals. If you have amethyst in your world but are not seeing the glints, a few things could be blocking them.

Make Sure the Effect Is Enabled

Open the mod config and confirm the crystal sparkle category is turned on. If you or a previous config disabled it, the particles will never appear no matter how much amethyst you place. Enable it and save.

Place Amethyst Where You Can See It

The sparkle effect triggers around amethyst crystal blocks, so place some amethyst clusters or budding amethyst in a well-lit area where you can observe them. The particles are subtle, so viewing them against a dark background or at night makes them much easier to spot. Stand still for a moment and watch the crystal rather than running past it.

Check Your Particle Settings

If you have reduced the Minecraft particle setting to Minimal in your video options, some effects may be suppressed. Raise the particle setting to All and revisit the amethyst. Also confirm no other mod is overriding particle rendering. Once enabled and visible, the sparkles add a nice magical touch to geode builds and amethyst farms.
