How to Play Music Discs and Watch Them Spin

Setting Up Your Jukebox

Place a jukebox block in your world. Make sure you have at least one music disc in your inventory—these are found in loot chests, purchased from wandering traders, or obtained through other means.

Playing and Viewing the Disc

1. Stand near the jukebox

2. Right-click the jukebox while holding a music disc

3. The disc will slide down into the jukebox with an insertion animation

4. Watch as the disc appears on top of the jukebox block and begins to spin smoothly

5. The music plays while the disc rotates visually

6. When the song ends, the disc will pop out and eject from the jukebox

Tips

The spinning animation plays continuously while music is active, giving you a satisfying visual accompaniment to the audio. You can stand at any distance and still see the animated disc on top of the block. If you prefer a simpler aesthetic, the mod offers a static disc option where the record rests without spinning—check your mod configuration to enable this alternative look.
