Enable or Disable Wounds on Passive Mobs

Toggle Passive Mob Wounds

Locate the passive mob damage setting in your configuration. This controls whether friendly animals like cows, sheep, and pigs display visible wounds when hurt.

Decide Your Preference

If you want a more immersive farming experience where your animals show signs of damage, enable this setting. If you prefer to keep passive mobs looking pristine and undamaged, disable it. This is purely a visual preference and doesn't affect mob behavior or health mechanics.

Handle Villagers Separately

The villager damage option works only when passive mob damage is enabled. Use this to independently control whether villagers display wounds. Some players disable villager wounds to keep their trading partners looking unharmed, while allowing other passive mobs to show battle scars.

Apply Changes

Save your configuration and reload your world. Damage a passive mob to verify your settings are working as intended. You can toggle these options at any time without restarting the game.
