Adjust Wound Density to Match Your Playstyle
Understand Damage Multiplier
The damage multiplier setting controls how many visible wounds appear on a mob as it takes damage. A lower multiplier means fewer, more subtle marks; a higher multiplier creates denser wound coverage across the mob's body.
Choose Your Multiplier Level
If you prefer a clean, minimal look during combat, set the multiplier toward the lower end (around 10–30%). For intense visual feedback that makes every hit feel impactful, push it toward the higher end (70–100%).
Consider Performance
Higher multiplier values require more rendering work, especially when fighting multiple mobs. If you experience frame drops during intense battles, lower the multiplier to improve performance while keeping wounds visible.
Test in Combat
Spawn a mob and deal damage to it. Observe how many wound marks appear at your current setting. Adjust the multiplier up or down based on whether you want more or less visual detail, then test again until you find the balance that feels right for your gameplay.
