Set Up Visual Enchants for the First Time

Prerequisites

Visual Enchants requires Optifine to function. The custom item textures won't load without it, so install Optifine before proceeding.

Installation Steps

1. Ensure Optifine is installed and running in your Minecraft launcher

2. Load the Visual Enchants Resource Pack into your resource packs folder

3. In the main menu, go to Options → Resource Packs

4. Find Visual Enchants in the available packs list and move it to the active side

5. Close the resource pack menu and restart your world

Verifying It Works

Once loaded, craft or find an enchanted helmet. The texture should display a custom design instead of the default purple glow. If you see the standard purple glow, double-check that:

• Optifine is active in your current game session
• The resource pack appears in your active list (not the available list)
• You've restarted your world after adding the pack

If textures still don't appear, try moving the Visual Enchants pack higher in your active list to give it priority over other packs.
