Compare Enchantments Across Different Armor Materials

Understanding Material Variations

Visual Enchants customizes helmets for iron, gold, diamond, and netherite. The same enchantment looks different on each material, helping you quickly identify both the enchantment type and the armor tier.

How to Compare

1. Gather or craft helmets from different materials (iron, gold, diamond, netherite)

2. Apply the same enchantment to each helmet—for example, Fire Protection

3. Place them in your inventory or on the ground side by side

4. Observe how the texture changes while the enchantment effect stays consistent

What You'll Notice

Each material has its own color palette and design language:

  • Iron helmets display one visual style
  • Gold helmets show a different aesthetic
  • Diamond and netherite helmets feature their own distinct patterns

This layering of material + enchantment creates a visual system where you can identify both what magic your gear has and what tier it is at a glance. This is especially useful when managing multiple sets of armor for different situations.
