Experience Dynamic Weather Effects
Understand Weather-Aware Visuals
Visual Effects+ ties particle effects and fog to weather conditions. Rain, snow, and storms trigger biome-specific visual responses. Deserts show sandstorms, forests display heavier rain streaks, and caves may darken or show moisture effects.
Trigger Weather Events
Use /weather rain or /weather thunder to test storm visuals immediately. Different biomes will respond distinctly—compare a desert sandstorm to a forest rainstorm.
Observe Biome-Specific Responses
Visit multiple biomes during the same weather event to see how Visual Effects+ customizes the experience:
- Deserts: Intense dust and sand particle swirls
- Forests: Enhanced rain visibility and leaf effects
- Caves: Moisture and dripping ambiance
- The End: Unique storm-like distortions
Adjust Weather Intensity
If weather effects feel too intense or distracting, reduce particle counts in weather configuration files. This lets you keep the immersive atmosphere without visual overload during storms.
