Customize the Main Menu Background Visuals
Access the Configuration Menu
Open your mod configuration settings (usually through a mod menu or config folder). Look for the Vistas Mod section to find visual customization options.
Adjust Visual Settings
Vistas Mod provides several tweakable parameters to personalize your main menu experience:
- Render Distance: Control how far the procedurally generated landscape extends. Lower values improve performance on weaker systems.
- Lighting and Brightness: Adjust ambient lighting to match your preferred aesthetic—brighter for a cheerful feel, dimmer for atmosphere.
- Weather Effects: Enable or disable rain, fog, or other atmospheric conditions that appear in the background scene.
- Terrain Detail: Modify the complexity of terrain generation. Higher detail creates more varied landscapes but uses more resources.
- Camera Position: Some versions allow adjusting the camera angle or zoom level for different viewing perspectives.
Apply and Test
Save your configuration changes and return to the main menu. The next time the menu loads, your customized settings will take effect. If performance drops, reduce render distance or terrain detail.
