Troubleshoot Visitors Not Appearing

Check Your Settlement Requirements

Visitors only spawn if both conditions are met:

1. Count your local villagers using a Visitor Checker—you need at least 6

2. Verify you have at least 1 iron golem nearby

If either count is too low, recruit more villagers or build/spawn an iron golem.

Verify Spawn Conditions

• Time of day: Visitors only spawn at dawn. Use /time set day to skip to morning if needed
• Distance: Visitors spawn near your settlement. Stay within render distance or they may not appear
• Spawn cycle: The mod checks for spawns at intervals set by spawnCheckIntervalSeconds.

Reset and Test

If visitors still don't appear:

1. Use /visitors clear 100 to remove any stuck visitors

2. Confirm your villager and golem counts with /visitors check

3. Run /visitors population 5 50 to force-spawn 5 visitors within 50 blocks for testing

4. Use /visitors reload to refresh the configuration

If force-spawning works but natural spawning doesn't, check your config settings—spawn percentage or cycle limits may be too restrictive.
